So I've been playing around with Necrons for a bit and after some testing came up with a few lists. This one seems like some of the most balanced I've come up with though. Would appreciate some feedback on the viability. It has Triarch Stalkers, so sadly, without lots of conversions it would have to be proxied (maybe dreadnaughts) to see play right now. This has a nice mix of anti-tank and shooting, some tools for dealing with CC and a CC counter-unit. It has 3 scoring units, which is about 1 less than I'd like, but it is flexible to pull 1 Triarch Stalker for another 10 Immortals (about the same points cost).
Necrons: 2000 Points
1x Overlord w/ Warscythe in Catacomb Command Barge (Gauss Cannon)
Royal Court:
1x Harbinger of Destruction w/ Eldritch Lance and Solar Pulse
1x Harbinger of Transmogrification w/ Tremorstave
1x Overlord w/ Warscythe in Catacomb Command Barge (Gauss Cannon)
Royal Court:
1x Harbinger of Destruction w/ Eldritch Lance and Solar Pulse
1x Harbinger of Transmogrification w/ Tremorstave
10x Necron Immortals w/ Tesla Carbines
10x Necron Immortals w/ Tesla Carbines
10x Necron Immortals w/ Tesla Carbines
1x Triarch Stalker
1x Triarch Stalker
1x Triarch Stalker
6x Canoptek Wraiths w/ 3x Whip Coils
1x Annhiliation Barge
1x Annhiliation Barge
1x Annhiliation Barge
Basically this list focuses on Tesla shooting madness with the twin-linking on Stalkers. Also, it has decent anti-vehicle with 2x Harbingers of Destruction, 2x Command Barges, and 3x Stalkers. Wraiths can also in a pinch. It has anti-horde in the form of Annhiliation Barges and volume of Tesla fire. It has Tremorstaves to slow down assaults on your units. Wraiths can also intercept to cause some issues. 2 Solar Pulses on enemy turns to buy you 2 turns of night fighting benefit. Also this list sports a whopping 8 AV 13 vehicles -- until pens start dropping. Would be a daunting task for some people to know where to start shooting.
Some tweaks I'd considered. You could:
1. Drop an Overlord and a barge and 1 court to pick up a Destroyer Lord and stick him with the wraiths and some Mindshackle Scarabs to give even more punch to your Wraithwing.
2. As I said, drop a Stalker to pick up a 4th unit of Immortals if you need troops and want to run 4 bricks of Immortals.
3. A final cool thing might be to drop a Stalker and a Royal Court. So only take a Harbinger of Destruction, Harbinger of Transmogrification, and a Harbinger of Despair. Could even drop an Overlord and add a few regular Lords to your court with Gauntlet of Fire. Now you have a Deep Striking, twin linked unit that wounds on 2+ with flamer templates and rapid fire. Could be nice for killing tough units with mass wounds.
