Amazing dirt effects. It seems I can't achieve anything close to those results. May I humbly ask…..how the hell did you do those dirt effects?

The dirtbuildup was done by picking up 2 pastel chalk sticks at my local arts and crafts store, grinding them up in a fine powder and then mixing them with water. This "muddy mix" (it's a lot chunkier then weathering pigments) is stippled on the bottom half of the tank with one very FUBAR old brush (bristles sticking out to all sides) and left to dry. Any exces is wiped off with my fingers and the rest is fixated with pastel fixative (turpentine based, so don't go crazy with this stuff... just a small amount).
