HWSs should be either
ACs or
LCs.
LCs for
AV 12+ and
ACs for
AV 12 or less and everything else (troops,
MCs, ect). Anything else is either to limited (
HBs and Mortars are only good against infantry) or to expensive for a single shot at
BS 3 (
ML) that ends up firing on the same things a
AC would be shooting at (
AV 12 or less and everything else).
Drop the
LCs off the
LRBTs at least, as a single shot at a vehicle at
BS 3 is iffy and kinda wastes the battle cannon which should be shooting at infantry anyways due to the scatter.
LRBTs are attacking vehicles, as a
LRBT that doesn't move is a dead
LRBT. If your doing a gunline list, I would honestly consider dropping them. Replace one with two hydras and if you do keep one, consider outflanking it via Dreed's 'Tactical Genius'. You can also look at upgrading them to Executioners or Demolishers if you do keep them. I am not sold on the Basilisks, but I think that is more a personal choice. I would rather have a Manticore or two for your blobs to bubble wrap.
I would drop the Ratlings. If you really want snipers, give a
PCS 4x Sniper Rifles. Just remember Sniper Rifles are only effective against
MCs or low leadership troops. For a camping
PCS, a
AC and 2x Sniper Rifles give you a anti-Vehicle (troop transport popper) option for the unit if there are no
MCs. Remember 'Bring it Down!' works against vehicles and
MCs and makes the unit twin linked.
I love Creed myself, but the question you have to ask is if you think you will issue 4+ Orders a turn. If you do not think you will issue 4 Orders a turn, don't bother with Creed. I like Creed static, so I like to give the
CCS a
LC and 2x Plasma guns with Camo Cloaks. If you want to keep the
CCS mobile, go 4x Melta or Plasma guns... I would even consider Carapace armor just to give them a save for 'Gets Hot!' at least. I rather have the 3+ cover save myself, but for an attacking list I can understand making him mobile. If you use Creed's 'Tactical Genius' ability and get two other Outflankers/Deep strikers, look at getting a Astropath. If anything, I would also look at a Officer of the Fleet. Drop the Vox though... Commissars in the blobs and the Lord Commissar for the HWSs (read his 'Aura of Discipline) should make the Leadership high enough for Orders as well as for other morale tests to keep them around.
Make sure you give your PIS sergeants melta bombs to give them some form of protection against a walker in close combat. If a
MC shows up, you /have/ to shoot it before it gets in close combat if it is T 7+. I agree with the blobbing and the dropping of the voxs. I would also look at 30 man blobs or even a 3rd blob of 20 men. I would drop the plasma guns in the blobs due to the
BS 3 and just stick with melta guns for anti-vehicle and anti-terminator/power armor defence. The
AC is a good choice for
BS 3 troops, as it gives you a good chance to hit with at least 1 shot of the 2.

Put your Vets,
CCS, PCSs, HWSs, and Lord Commissar in the middle of your zone to hold it. Put your Basilisks and blobs in the corners. Hunker down in as much cover as possible and issue Orders to the units that need them for vehicles and
MCs. The blobs if they are out of Order range is fine, as 4
AC shots should hit and hopefully pop a transport or put some damage on infantry. Having a
PCS or your vets close to the Lord to be in his Aura of Discipline (only need 1 guy in range) isn't a bad thing. Just make sure the Vets are the front line as you can fire though your own troops fine. Put Creed right behind them and as close to the center as possible to allow him to cover the most area.
