Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think you can only take one court, for one HQ. You only have one HQ, therefore you may not take 2 HQ's

Drop the other Royal Court. You only need one, tbh.

And I would recommend getting more than 15 warriors.

I disagree completely that you should drop the other Royal Court.

However, I would bring a 4th squad of warriors. In my experience, you can't win tournament games with less than 4 troop choices. Obviously Necrons continue to get the shaft as far as troops go, and I also bring min squads, but I always bring 4.

I like everything about this list except the doomsday ark. But some days I like the ark, so your mileage may vary. Best list I've seen on Dakka so far.

I'd be worried about running the Tomblades that way. You've more than doubled their cost, and they are easy kill points as individuals (they don't get RP).

I think you do need another troop choice, and I might drop a Stalker to free up the points.

Well, there is no stopping you from taking another one, but from my experience, an Overlord escorted by 4 Crypteks and maybe two Lords is enough to win most battles.

For the Cost of the Nebuloscopes, and Shadowlooms, you could buy another Particle beamer Tomb Blade, which would better serve. I'd consider dropping those upgrades, and putting them into a squad together so you can take advantage of RP. 2 Solo Tomb Blades arn't going to do anything, except take a single AP4 or better shot and be down. a Squad of 3-5 is much better, and can really put out a large amount of wounds, and benefit from RP.

I'd drop the Phase shifter on the CCB OL, I find it's better just keep them cheap for making sweep attacks. Consider swapping out the Underslung Tesla Cannon for a Gauss Cannon as well.

I'd consider dropping the third Stalker. 2 is perfect, IMO, and there are a lot of things you could do with the points from that, and the phase shifter. You could buy a second CCB and Warscythe, and have points left over. Perhaps buy a 5 man warrior squad for sitting in reserve, and walking on to a rear objective as well.

The crypteks are split into the Warrior barges, as both the OP said and common sense dictates.

I can get behind all of these suggestions. On one hand, the stealthed jetbike trickery is fun, but it is 2 easy killpoints as Sasori said. Personally, I don't see them as useful at all, but I haven't play tested enough.

Totally agree on the cheap, sweep-attacking OL in CCB. OL + Warscythe + CCB, done.

Also agree re: Stalkers. 2 is perfect, 3 could be overkill. The points could be used elsewhere, considering how the codex is a little points-hefty.

But why? There is no reason to make two separate Courts when you could make one big and take upgrades, like Mindshackle Scarabs. It will not be much more use to have six Crypteks armed with Eldrich Lances and a Solar Pulse than it would be to have five of them together with the same weapons and Necron Lords using special equipment. I have found that combination particularly devastating. Besides, a Lord with a Tesseract Labyrinth could be helpful for killing monstrous creatures or heroes. Usually this unit is the one that wins my games.

How much does your total royal court cost in points?

There are a multitude of reasons, why splitting up the court members makes more sense. For one, having them separate means they can fire at separate units. You don't always need 5 strength 8 Attacks going into a single target. Spreading them out helps. In this case he has 3 sets of two.

Next, wound allocation is much worse for a single large court, than it is when it's split up among the army. You can take shooting casualties on every other model in the unit, before you have to put them on the Crypteks. In a full court, you are likely not going to have many other models to absorb wounds, so you are likely taking casualties quickly. A single barrage from a Manticore can wipe out your unit, and with only 1/3rd to 1/2 standing back up you've lost most of your firepower.

Access to unique wargear as well. He has two Solar pulses, which you can't get with a single court.

Overall, a single large court is rather bad IMO. It's too vulnerable to shooting, and even with RP, EL and an Orb you are going to rack up causalities very quickly. In what you are proposing, by adding expensive lords to go with it, is just not getting a good value for it's points.

Only thing I would disagree with Sasori here is when you are building warrior bricks and have GAs with no occupants. A "dev squad" court hiding behind AV 13 is pretty nasty.

I would drop one Tomb Stalker, and from there, upgrade the first lord to Anakyr, and include a catacomb command barge and warscythe for the other. You'll still have 10 psuedo AV 13 vehicles, but those Command Barges just annihilate everything. Especially seeing how with Anakyr you can take control of enemy vehicles.
