Basic idea is 3 Tomb Stalkers to mark targets, 3 heavy anti-tank to open stuffs up and 3 troop eaters to gobble um up (both Arks and the Veil Immortals) Anrakyr and Nemesor attach to the Veil Immortals.

The Court hitches a ride on the GA while the two groups of warriors hug cover and shoot their long range pew pew.

The thing I love about the list is the synergistic BoomBoom. Theoretically I can throw a Tomb Stalker, 2 Harps and then Tank Hunter the Court to throw 4 BS 4 twin-linked S9 AP 2 shots at an AV 12 Land Raider. Very nasty indeed!

Obvious area of concern is the limited number of troops. I'm hoping two rounds of night fighting plus having big shiny metal objects two shoot at will help mitigate this a bit.

C&C welcome.

The best State-Texas

For Starters, Anrayker preforms MUCH better if he has a barge. Allows him to sweep, and get up close for his Mind in the Machine.

The thing I dislike about Harps, is you still have to roll the 4+ for Entropic strike. Meaning that with both shots, you are only likely to drop the AV down by 1. Can't say I'm a big fan of those. I think just replacing both of those with Lance Crypteks would be better.

I also thing the VoD is really eating up your points as well, and is not needed. Throwing Anrayker and Zahndrekh in there, and veiling around is asking for trouble. A Dedicated assault unit is going to focus on the immortals, and sweep that entire unit away, it would not be good. You've got an effective 30' range on the immortals, I'd say the Veil is not needed at all.

I think 3 Triarch Stalkers is a bit overkill, I think 2 do the job fine.

Your Troops are really lacking, as you've said. I'd really try to find more points to put into them. In 10 man footslogging Immortal squads, I'd say you really need a lord with a Scythe and MSS to help out in assaults. Being that these will be Pyrrian Immortals, they'd actually be a decent CC unit. The Warrior squads Need beefing up. especially at 2500.

I'd say in this list you really don't need the Heavy Destroyers. You've got Zahndrekh for Tank hunter, two Courts of Lances, 3 Stalkers and Anrayker and even the DD arks if you need it. I think these points could be much better spent elsewhere. I think you really need a counter assault unit, and Wraiths would fit that bill perfectly.

I see where you are going with the Tomb Spyders for fixing, but do you think they are really needed? I think the two Solar pulses should last long enough for your Vehicles to do some damage. I'd personally replace them with an Annihilation barge.

Sasori got a lot right with what he said. I really like the concept of what you have going. My only problem is how easy your enemy will get a cover save if the vehicle explodes. It really reduces the effectiveness of your doomsday ark. Not enough to not reccomend taking it mind you, but something to be preapred for.
I would drop 1 squad of heavy destroyers, the harps and the VoD Cryptek, and Anakyr.

From there you have a lot of options. Another lord is a prioirty. But even then you could still include Scarabs more tesla immortals or beef up the warrior sqauds.

Seeing how you have no problems using 2 special characters, have you considered the Stormlord? I think he can benefit from Tank Hunters, so wouldn't STR 9 lightning bolts be one of the funniest things ever? With him and the Solar Pulses, you could keep the night fighting going on for so long. The bigger the points the better the Stormlord gets. More targets for him.

Vary true. I had the barge originally but scrapped it for some points. The idea was have him in the Pyrrian Immortals group and he could double as the WS lord in that group. Then he could Veil around and get with in range for his Mind in the Machine.

The Harp target will generally be marked, so the odds are a tad better, but yeah in most lists I add the harps for AV 14 contingency, in this one they are there more for flavour.

You'd probably right. I was thinking of using them pretty aggressively, hoping Anrayker+Nemesor+Pyriaan would be able to handle there own, but against a dedicated assault army they would have issues.

I think 3 Triarch Stalkers is a bit overkill, I think 2 do the job fine.

I tend to agree for 2k, but in 2.5k? I guess I'm attached to the symmetry and redundancy of the 3/3/3

Some good points. A more standard build would have me drop one group of HDs, one stalker, and dump that into troops. I see what your saying with the Spyders, but with a lost of big expensive guns on the board (between the stalkers and the arks) I would love to playtest and see how often they justify their cost with repairs. Plus they add at least a token CC resistance to protect the big guns.

Good feedback. Gives me some ideas to roll around. This is one of my don't have hardly any of the models but what would I do with unlimited funds wish lists, still rolling through my head in terms of potentiality, and I love the idea of a list that can go BoomBoom real frikken hard .

That's pretty nasty. I was going for the ultimate tank hunter build, and Stormlord is in my Standard list, but I do love the idea of the Tank Huntin Stormlord.
