Subject: New Army

Frightening Flamer of Tzeentch

Ok, I want to start a new army for a new year; I also want to use one of the megaforces so does any one have any suggestions about what army to do.
I would like to do blood angels or another space marine variant as I like power armour, just not vanilla marines...

So obviously you are going to want to use the space marine megaforce. BA are probably your best bet with the contents you get in the box. IMO it's is a box that offers too much of a variety of things so in terms of creating a competitive list it is not ideal.
but if you ae just learning and you get it as a gift Try BA. You will need transports though like razorbacks or rhinos.

It's quite bad to use as a BA starting force as:
1) No Venerable Dreads (Although it could be an ordinary Dread instead)
2) Land Speeder Storms don't exist in BA
3) Tactical squads don't really play to the BA's strengths
Also, it just doesn't do well.
They haven't been updated in a while, but if you want a Megaforce, why not use Dark Angels?

You really have to hurry if you want to get one; they're out of stock in the warehouses and there are barely any left in GW stores.
