Getting closer to release time for these so figured I would pop up a new preview.

Lady Nyvenne........pardon the scythe.....it is magick.

Robert the Faithful, Last hero on Carlisle Wall

Hope you like them! Should be up just before Christmas along with the shambling undead booster and two more Aenglishmen!

The Aenglish are expanding a little faster than planned. I have the modulars done and they will be off to press with the new HV elites. After that the HV cavalry, goblins footies, and probably more undead.

Under the couch

Awesome drapery on the dress, as usual. There's some fantastic potential for painting on the lady.

Agreed. The cloth 'bunching' and the way it falls is spot on.

Very nice Minis.

I too like Robert. If I ever get back into playing brets he'll have a home. Can't pardon the scythe I'm afraid - to me Red Box games is set apart by a very high level of realistic detail, and the scythe is a step in the wrong direction. It also appears to have some of the brass rod showing between the arm and the body also?

Awesome as usual. The Aenglish are an exception to my usual rule against miniature soldiers who appear to be carrying the entire contents of a miscellaneous drawer hanging off their person because it actually looks like believable kit, as opposed to a thousand trophies they carry around for no particular reason.

The cloth on Lady Nyvenne is fantastic. This would be a perfect mini to practice cloth effects on, especially semi-translucent fabric. Makes me wish I wasn't a student again and had the time to actually work on her.

Great work on both - they look great (erm, except the scythe is a bit off). - Any chance of making the scythe one of two weapon choices or somesuch? So she can be holding ...something else instead?

One of the things that put me off the Anima Tactics miniatures is the addition of sculpted on "special effects" like fire, etc....I feel the same way about the flaming skull in her hand. I think it makes the miniatures more static than dynamic.

How did I miss these? Lady Nyvenne is going to make an awesome vampire countess for my Lahmians. That's a wonderful sculpt.

edit - I just checked out your site. You guys have some incredible sculpts. I feel terrible for not knowing about you guys until now.

Cheers guys!

The January releases are up for pre order in the store!

Ok I know I said I would not do the pre-order thing again but this is a bit of a different situation. The caster I am working with on this release has never let me down yet on release dates and he assures me that these figures will be en route to me by the 28th. Typically packages from him to me take no more than 2 days, so I expect to have the castings by the 2nd.

I have already seen and approved the masters and he has already made 2 of the production moulds.

At any rate I figure no one will actually be placing an order until after Christmas anyway so this is really more of a notification of availability than anything else.

So! This month I have on hand;

The Lady Nyvenne, As Evil as she is beautiful the Gray Lady commands the infernal powers of the forgotten ones with a finesse and mastery rivaled only by the Keeper Himself. If you are looking for a creature of beauty to drive your armies of death then look ye no further!

Llewelyn SoftStrider, woodsman, warrior, brigand, man hunter. Llewelyn is known far and wide as a man not to be crossed or a man to be sought by. An excellent Human ranger character to compliment any dungeoneerign party or adventuring band and a certain addition for any warband.

Robert of Carlisle Wall, son of a Hillander noble and would be Husband to the late Aenglish Lady Evelyn of Carlisle. A-Grieved for the untimely death of his Lady Love he seeks out danger where-so ever it is to be had, thus did he earn the distinction of the his title at the great battle of Carlisle Wall.

The Journeyman Gerard. A foreigner of distinctive skill Gerard is a thief, a fighter, an adventurer and explorer. If there is adventure to be had, or a challenge to be met it is he who will be the first to answer the call. An excellent figure for that hard to define Fighter / Thief the Journeyman Gerard is a certian recruit for any adventuring band of treasure hunters or skulking thieves or even special agents of high powers.

Watch Captian Whistlocke, Stern, serious, accomplished and courageous The Watch Captain Whistlocke is the master of the reknowned Whistlocke's Watch of Shield'sPort wharf district. It is there, in the oldest section of that sprawling city, that the worst of the worst go about their business and there also where the name of Whistlocke bears as much fear and respect as would that of the highest Masters of the Shadow guilds.

Yougn Rupert of Chalton, a youthful wide adventurer out to prove his mettle in the dark bedeviled channels of ruins and goblin burrows. Fitted in the trappigns of the early fighter Rupert is perfect to represent that 1st level fighter destined to rise to great heights or fall from them in the dark holes of forlorn places.

On the perfumed wind

Had to click the link for the undead (which are great) since the pic seems broken? Love the adventurers!

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

The Red Box Games January releases are now shipping TWO DAYS EARLY!!! I guess I am never going to get the timing exactly right but I will take sooner rather than later. I will be spending the day packing the pre-orders and they should begin shipping today. Many thanks to all of you for your continued trust and patience and enthusiasm for the RBG line.

This year, very soon I hope, will see the release of the downloadable beta rules and by August of this year I plan to the printed rule / setting book. Further there are always plans a-foot for new armies. There are two in particular that I a lot of questions about, and at long last I have designs for each that I think are sufficiently fresh and recognizably in keeping with the traditions of the old school aesthetic which is the goal of the RBG line.

Also early this year we will see the expansion of the Helsvakt with the very long awaited Hel Riders, new modular armoured elites, Ranged troops, a new set of modular hordesmen, and new characters as well.

Beyond the HelsVakt the Goblins will finally get their runty footmen with shield and hand weapons along with a few new characters as well. And also look out for the long awaited modular Njorn as well!

As Always your support and enthusiasm is appreciated more than I can articulate.

Cheers,

Tre'

As always, LOVE the undead. Any chance of a Vampire lord model from your superb team?

The only released ones are a disappointment.

EDIT: Just reread that... I meant the ones released by other companies, lol. I haven't seen yours, so the only disappointment there is my unfiulfilled desire to see you sculpt a Vampire lord.
