Ok i'm going to a double's tourny on the 26th and the points are 1500.
I'm going to expect a drop pod army w/Lysander, meched up orks, Grey Knights, and maybe some other cron players
so any ideas

maybe some scarabs to deal with the pods when they drop.
wraiths will deal with any troops. they are amazing. the str 6 and rending will allow them to take out heavy units such as terminators as well maybe even some tanks. they are also verry good at surviving with the 3++ and 2 wounds.
some decent shooting such as immortals will be helpfull for taking out things that come out of the pods.

All the Canoptek units are wonderful, Spyders are special, make scarabs shine, and do good work. Scarabs are a necessity in the Necron book and Wraiths will solve virtually every CC question you will have. If you fit in Stormy he has ridiculous synergy with many armies. In fact him alone, plus knowing your doubles partner will go a long way in setting up your army selection.

Well my partner plays Eldar and I am thinking about having stormy in my army. But i'm wondering how the other character's fair in game.

What manner of Eldar army. That's the most important thing to know before making yours. You guys want to be working together.
