I'm looking to play in the ATC tournament, which involves five man teams, each player with a 2000 pt army.

I know that one of the team members will be Orks, and we might have a CSM and another IG player. I'm not sure about player 5.
With that in mind, what kind of list should I bring to complement my team mates' lists?

Normally, with threads like these you as the OP would generally post a list or at least a general outline of one.

As it stands now, we have no clue what your potential team mates are going to run, nor do we know what you want to run as an IG army.

So, OP, you start.

Given what's been said, i'll add this: What does IG do better than others? Or that others can't do.
For example - Vendettas.

Yeah, I would just build a stand alone, balanced 2k list because you don't know who your partner is. Don't worry about them, worry about what you can control, your list.

Been playing 40k on and off since 89.
Armies...
Orks, Eldar, Lamentors, Pre-Heresy EC, CSM EC, and IG.
