I was wondering how I should equip my Stormraven for my Assault Terminators Anbd Furioso.
The Terminators are all armed with Lightning Claws and the Furioso with Blood Talons and I was wondering if I should equip my Stormraven to an Anti-Tank Capacity or Anti-Infantry.

Anti-Tank would be Lascannon and Multi-Meltas.

Anti-Infantry would be Assault Cannons, Typhoon Missile Launcher and Hurricane Bolters.

assault cannon, multi melta, hurricane bolters. Then you have good anti infantry, good anti transport, decent anti tank.

Keep it cheap. The only upgrade that's a good idea is Extra Armor. The Stormraven is a transport, and will draw fire. Hurricane Bolters just increase the cost of a unit that is quite likely to be down after a turn of shooting.

As for weapons, I'd always go with the Multi-melta, and probably go with the Plasma Cannon for versatility, but the Assault Cannon would be good too. I wouldn't go with the Lascannon, the Assault Cannon is better against most vehicles.

I am completely dumbfounded about why people say that. Although the Assault Cannon has higher volumes of fire, a 6 followed by a 6 or 5 is incredibly unlikely. A Lascannon just has to roll one 6 and it penetrates.

For an assault cannon hit to pen is 1/18. So a shot has 4/81, yes a third less chance.
4 shots however have (77/81)^4 of all not penning. That is about 4.95/27 or greater than 4/27. Of course you have multiple pens under this probability, which is just the icing on the cake.

As MFletch just showed, we say that Assault Cannons are better against most vehicles because they are.

A Twin Linked Assault Cannon has a better chance to do something to every AV except 12, and a better chance to penetrate every AV but 11, than a Twin Linked Lascannon. The only advantages the Lascannon has are range, AP2 and the ability to ID T4. Only one of those applies to vehicles, and the range isn't terribly material on a Stormraven.

Everyone pretty much summed up what I would have to say about the Stormraven. I would put Multi Melta and TL Assault Cannons on it. It really is the best loadout. Hurricane bolters are wasted on the Stormraven in my opinion. Usually you are going to go 24 inches and then use power of the machine spirit anyways so you probably won't be able to use more than one gun. I wouldn't recommend the Plasma Cannon since Blood Angels have lots of AP2 and AP1 options. If this were a GK list then it'd be very different since Psycannons are essentially Assault Cannons.
