Hey all! These are my Scout Snipers I painted just to get some variety when painting lots of IG troops. C&C would be very welcome.

I love snipers. And these are pretty well done. Although the shading of the yellow parts looks abit strange.

looking very nice, the cloaks contrast alot with the scout armour, and looks great!

Good quality, though the color itself is not my preference. The yellow is too bright and the capes really would do nothing to protect the scouts.

The base shows an urban environment. So the capes probably do more for their protection than the yellow armour. ; )

They don't seem very well camoflagued for urban warfare with all that yellow. Nice job on the cloaks!

Looking good especially when it comes to painting yellow, I myself find it quite hard to do, but considering I can get away with being a little bit more when it comes to neatness being at ork player.

Not a fan of the yellow, personally. It looks to me like you were relying on the transparency of the paint (over a black basecoat) for shading, which doesn't work with yellow (the pictures show exactly why - the color turns a sort of toxic olive drab color). In the future, I'd base the yellow with a light brown if you plan to use this method, or cover entirely with yellow, wash it darker with brown, then highlight back up, as normal.

Not a bad effort overall, though. There are actually some rather nice touches - the little splash of OSL under the barrel of the scope-holding scout's gun, especially, is well done.

Actually it isn't yellow painted over black. It's basecoated Catachan green, then a layer of Camo green and then highlighted with Golden yellow and I don't know, I kinda like it.
