The width of a Necron Monolith (from "front" door to "rear", considering proper assembly, parts that aren't warped, etc.) is @6". The margin of difference is so slight, I can see heated debates regarding Monoliths arriving from (standard) reserve. Does anybody else feel this wasn't taken into account when limiting the Monolith's movement? Should the Monolith (an ancient alien device from a supposedly far superior technological race) have the equivalent of a Drop Pod's inertial guidance system? Is anybody using Monoliths, and if so what is the general consensus regarding their effectiveness?

Read the Monolith entry again. If held in reserve, it must arrive by Deep Strike.

Excellent. Now, regarding their effectiveness...?
