So here's what I thought :
Belial : Pair LC, Standard Upgrade, Apothecary Upgrade (185 pts)
Dreadnought : Plasma Cannon, Hvy Flamer (130 pts)
Dreadnought : Plasma Cannon, Hvy Flamer (130 pts)
Dreadnought : Plasma Cannon, Missile Launcher (135 pts)
Deathwing Term Squad : 3xTh/SS + 2xLC, Cyclone (230 pts)
Deathwing Term Squad : 3xTh/SS + 2xLC, Cyclone (230 pts)
Deathwing Term Squad : 3xTh/SS + 2xLC, Cyclone (230 pts)

Total : 1500 pts
Okay so I intend to send the first two DW squad with Belial in Deep Strike, being covered from afar by the Dreadnoughts. What do you think of it?

I would have loose one squad to have three typhoons. Belial with SS/ TH lasts longer. Also your points are not quite correct. Other than that very reasonable list.
Then on tactics: never decide before hand that you will deepstrike. Most of the time it is much better to walk all your army together shooting rather than split your limited army by deepstriking. Sometimes it will be good but you need the enemy to open the door to you if this is going to work.

Deepstriking without a ravenwing asset can be tough.
I like THSS on belial too, 3++ is really great!
At 1500 I run
Belial 130
4 termie squads (4 THSS/1CFSB, cyclone) 240, one squad 295 with banner/apoth
2 typhoons with MM
3 bikes with 1 melta, powerfist, MMAB
I like chainfists in each termie squad for land raiders and dreads, which the list can struggle with. At 1500 I could drop 2 CF for the second melta on the bikes, which is probably better, but my termies all have color coded bases and the idea of mixing base colors in squads upsets me.
If you did want this list to be PURE deathwing, I might recommend a land raider crusader or venerable on the dreads.
Belial
3 termie squads with cyclones (no cf)
1 termie squad with banner/apoth (no cf no cyclone)
1 venerable dread with plasma (no hf)
1 land raider crusader
You need to cut 1 cyclone, 2 dreads, and the hflamer from the 3rd dread... but you get a land raider crusader and venerable status on the last dread. The cyclone-less squad + belial go around stomping things with the land raider.

Sorry but going cyclone less is really silly. Also raiders really do not work with deathwing, you can not afford to have 250 pts in one model, usually the heavy slots are badly needed, it becomes a huge target, essentially you army will be walking at 6'' so the raider goes in alone which you deathing Wing assault to do if you need it.
It occurs to me that you have shoot two targets within 24'' with your raider, one plasmacannon and 3 cyclones - at 1500 pts that just isn't good enough, then on the flip side 27 models do not have much staying power either

MFletch, first I prefaced the LR list as a 'pure' deathwing list. The original list put up seemed to imply pure deathwing was a desired goal, thus it only makes sense that you use the total of 3 units available to deathwing--one of which is the land raider.
Also, the reason you drop a single cyclone on the command squad is because they are a dedicated assault unit in the land raider. This still lets you deepstrike 2 units of termies on turn 1, leaving only 1 unit off the table for reserve rolling.
Finally, I have been playing with a Land Raider in my deathwing/ravenwing army for a while now, and I can say with certianty that it is a fine investment. Deathwing shines in assault, NOT in shooting. Many armies outshoot deathwing easily. Dropping the land raider for a termie squad and 2 more cyclones trades 4 tl asscannon shots and a multimelta, with 12 tl bolters, for 4 missile shots.
In a shooting war, that is almost no real difference. However, the land raider can deliver termies 1-2 turns earlier than footslogging, providing a minimum of 24 s8 attacks in a single phase. Whats more, some armies can not defeat av14 easily, meaning the land raider can win games just by acting as a shield.
