hello fellow dakkanauts yesterday I got back from a speed painting contest we had to paint a marine in a christmasy colour scheme unfortunetly I was disqualifyed because mine wasn't christmasy enough, but I loved the colour scheme I did so I thought that I might post it.

And so the Knights of Talon were born.

This is the power armour:

I am in sore need of fluff Ideas!!! No chapter symbol at the moment!! please post your Ideas!!!

Genuinely curious why you would include SOB in marine squads.

The two are completely different and separate entities. It really wouldn't make any sense.

Scheme looks cool enough.

no its just ive got som sob models hanging around but not enough to make a squad

fluff definately non codex (codex very restricting) Maybe each battle group is resopnsable for its own recruitment and deployments maybe splinter fleets with astoroid bases? yes I think thats it splinter fleets!

You could have a DA army. If you got some Ravenwing shoulder pads for the entire army it would fit the theme, and the colour of the badge could be red.

Ravenwing shoulderpads! Yay!

Raptors symbol would be cool.

Isn't there a symbol with a wing with an outstretched claw? That'd be cool!

That's Ravenwing. I suggested it but it wasn't what Deathless wanted.
