Want to talk about vehicles' upgrade for the Eldar - especially engines. What do you prefer: star engines or vectored engines and why? May be some idea on the fast skimmer tactics??

If you absolutely must get a troops choice to an objective on the last turn from far away, Star Engines.

If you have precious cargo, aspect warriors, seer council, etc and plan on doing a LOT of flat out moves during the game, Vectored engines.

Usually, I make my transports as cheap as possible, so like 110 points or so for the basic shuriken cannon up top, and stones. For gun ships like Fire Prism, or Falcon, neither engine upgrade really makes sense.

Unless you are using the Falcon with troops inside to last second grab an objective from far away.

I take spirit stones. Vectored engines lost their place in 5th ed to be honest.

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

We just had a really good thread on this question here:
