Just getting started and the good folks at the 11th Company have talked about this as a great place to get info and tips on playing and hobbling. So thought I'd sign and. snoop around and get the dirt on all things 40K.
I've started an Ork army and am loving both the fluff and crunch of the Green Tide. I've only played 2 games so far (400point combat patrols) with a mate who has been helping me with both hobby and how to play. And while his Space Wolves were not gentle in slaughtering my boyz, nobz, Deffkoptas and grots, I learned an awful lot. And from what I gather, having Space Wolves beat a small Ork force is no disgrace - particularly in your first games.
So looking forward to developing my first real Horde army for games, I'm loving assembly and painting and looking forward to many years of plasticrack.
Peace
