honestly, this is a pretty cookie cutter list, you should do well in friendly environments, but if harder lists make their presence known you will feel it.

You are just not exploiting enough of our quirks to be a powerful contender, yes you have poms dakka-las preds and the typhoon, but you could forgo the lrc and CC termies for two squads of ranged termies w/ either cyclones or Assault cannons and tank hunters.

also by dropping 5 initiates from each squad you can buy two razorbacks with poms and las cannons.

I have to say to my experience this isn't cookie cutter. It could be made such with vindis and so forth.

I would want another rhino or a vindi with PotMS to run at the landraider speed. The preds I assume will be limping 6'' forward so not keeping up.

I am not sure what balance you can expect at 1500 pts so I would be happy enough with the list.

Solid classy BT list. It is something similar I run. I hate BT gunline lists so much, I think they do much better assaulting.

Both of the lists posted here look solid. I like to run Vindicators personally, but the stuff you have makes sense. Ranged BT is probably our most competitive build, but it's incredibly boring in my opinion.

would this one work with vindicators?

then you got the armored wall moving forward, vindis going 12 and shooting still, sorry having a hard time trying to make a list that isnt a gunline hehe

Predators are gunline, vindicators help the CC armies so your actually pretty good. I would drop 3 initiates from the LC squad to get a fourth LC terminator. FC on the termis is what really helps set them apart so I'd drop smoke from a rhino and anything else to scrap together those points. I'm also going to assume that the LC squad has bolters and the other 2 have BP/CCW. Otherwise it looks solid.

Drop the drag grenades and go in for furious charge on your terminators, you will thank yourself so much for it.

Looks good. Just one minor tweak, that doesn't cost any points. Go with a 4 LC and 2 TH/SS kit out so as to give yourself some better invuls without sacrificing too much offensively.

My suggestion would be have 3 LC and 3 TH/SS. You will need the +3 armor saves from them, on the assault with FC, you are getting 12 swings that re-roll to hit and wound, add in the EC 4 attacks and any 10 man unit is pasted.

Or drop that term, drop the 6th man from the lascannon unit and try to fit in a speeder with a multi melta or heavy flamer.

hopefully the rumoured update for BT wont change it too much for a melee army hehe.....

Trim 10 points somewhere by substituting 2 Initiates for 2 Neophytes(I'd start with the Las Squad) and give your Vinds EA, it's a required upgrade IMO.

one quick question more,

Can BT still be resonably competitive without gunline?

just curious cause i made a vanilla marine list at the same time and it had waaaay more than my BT list does at same point value and including the terminators aswell
