If a Cannoness is attached to a unit of Repentia and she activates her Act of Faith, will the Repentia strike at I 2 or will they still be 1 regardless?

Their weapon always makes them strike at I1, like a PF with FC.

"Power fists, however, are difficult and cumbersome to use, so attacks with a power fist are always delivered at INit 1 (ignore initiative bonuses from special rules, wargear, etc.)."

"Eviscerators follow all the rules for power fists and roll and extra D6 for armour penetration."

Can sisters repentia take a designated transport? The white dwarf codex is kind of vague on who can have them.

The WD codex is explicit in who can take a transport. Repentia CANNOT take a dedicated transport. You can hijack someone else's though, usually people take one from Retributors.

Wait,I take that back. Usually people do not field them because they are pretty terrible.

No the Retributors are just fine. Field them. Leave the Repentia at home.

Really, they are just as effective as death company but cheaper. They are a threat you have to deal with. My last game they ran through 3 space marine squads and were on there way to a land raider before my opponent conceded.

She does give them Preferred enemy.

That being said, if you want a close combat punch - Death cult assassins and Crusaders are better. She can make DCA I7 with 4 attacks on the charge with a re-roll. Add in Jacobus (Which is one of the requirements to fielding them) Then they strike at I7 with A5 power weapon attacks with a Re-roll and Feel no pain.

Then Crusaders give you a 3+ invulnerable.

Repentia are good but they're always on foot, have rage and no armour, can't take a Transport (but they can get in one) and always strike at I1.

I do love Retributors, I usually take 1 squad and give'm Heavy flamers. Altho the bolters would be good as well. WOO, Rending Multi-meltas!

"Suffering is Faith, Faith is Strength.

Generations have suffered with the same devotion that we can offer but once. Still, our Faith leads us through these dark times like a beacon. It will guide us to triumph over these abominations. Either by breaking them upon us like waves against a limitless, golden peak or by thrusting through them like the spear of the Immortal Emperor Himself." - Cannoness Aoife, Order of the desert rose #Yesallwomen

DCA and Crusaders do not have Faithful, so cannot benefit from her faith power.

By definition, rending multi-meltas are kind of silly. If you roll a 6 for a pen roll, you're already at armor 14. Gives you some more punch at 24 but at 12 it is overkill.

That they're as effective as something else that is not worth the points is hardly a ringing endorsement. I'm glad you've had good results with them but I just don't see how they can possibly be a better choice than Jacobus with DCA & Crusaders.

Yeah, Jacobus and DCA with Crusaders is the way to go
