Im currently a new player of the actual wargame of warhammer 40k,though i have been involved with the hobby for 4 years Im looking for some advice /suggestions/ creative comments, anything really from anyone who would like to get involved

My current gaming friends are about to begin a campaign, between (my) orks, necrons, GK and possible SM. The three of us who are deifinatly taking part are really into RPG's, fluff, backstories, themed games, the whole spectrum so much of our games will be story driven, objectives and basicly pave our story in the end

basicly here is the Idea for the campaign....ahem.... :

Based on the Ork held world of Luthein IV:
Was previously an imperial held world, much of the planet begin ruined indrustrail / urban after the invading ork WAAAGH.
There is no form of imperial forces upon the planet and is throughly in Ork hands.
Much of the planet is desert/ barren ruin wasteland, very small oceans between either side of the one continent, the enitire planet being poulluted by centuries of war and factory.
the rainfall is corrosive (acid rain) leadinging to rust on most metalic structures and surfaces and destroying plantlife, leaving husks and dead foliage.
The planet provides much of the orks materials and structures that have been "orkified" for their purpose.

(now to get necrons involved)
The Necrons use this planet as a "mahusive warehouse" so to speak, containing countless inactive and severly dammaged necron tech and warriors. The Orks unearth an entrence into the "Necron catacombs" core of the planet and seek to salvage said technology and (as orks do) seek out a more challenging foe.The Orks struggle to gain enterence to the complex, creating a bastion around the entrance to mount their assault from, bombarding it with heavy artliery, attempting to weld/bolt cut , and in some cases batter their way in.
this causes a responce from maintince drones etc etc from the tomb to send a distress signal out to any necrons within proximity to the system , as the catacombs are too heavily damaged to mount an effective defence etc. A Necron warship detects this signal and proceed to send reinforcement, "teleporting/phasing" support troops and maintence drones into the catacombs which beign repairs to critical systems and the like once in orbit of Luthein IV.
By this time, the orks have just managed to blast the "door? " and are recovering from the resultant force of both the explosives used and the energy released from the tomb, dusting themselves off, several of them laughing and hollering as the support troops begin to advance from the breach.

i know this isnt the section for campaigns, but i really want the fluff/fiction behind the campaign to sound both reasonable and "realistic" as possible to what would happen if 40k did exist in reality.

My Orks:

They are orginally of the deathskulls clan, having murged with several other kults and clans their motives and "kulture" have been slightly changed.
They go by a Horned deaths head ( deathskulls) which is painted etc blue, but it also has a lower jaw which is painted etc red.
The acid rain and pollution of the planet has caused much or the orks, weaponry, buildings and in general metals to become rusted and corroded, making them turn orangish yellow rust coloured, and as this causes paint etc to flake, the orks have little colours else than this rustish hue.

The warboss in this particular area by the necron catacomb entrence is call Warboss Raza, whos helmet continues with the blue skull red jaw theme.
Warboss Raza has a particular grudge agianst these necrons, as , though they provide a enemy to wage war against other than other orks, he finds it infuriating that they phase out once the fight is over, the only way he can raise his status in the warband is by claiming trophies of the slain preform feats of strength, which he cannot do.
The Necrons also claimed their own victory against him, Atomising his left arm above the elbow with gauss weaponry , which passed through and caused horrific dammage to his head/face, forcing him to wear a helmet , which essently, contains the contents of his skull.
Raza does not particular care about either of these injuries, as he has gained a permanent powerklaw, but its the actual wound in itself which have sown the seeds of doubt of his authority amongst both the warband he controls and the planetary warlord he serves. Because of this fact, Raza is hell-bent on the destruction of the necrons, taking revenge and also re-establishing his command.

Please feel free to nit-pick your way through and help me get a better backstory than it is already , leave your own comments or ideas to which i could add to what i have, and advice on things i can change
I have also got some ideas for a mekboy "Rulk" and a weirdboy "Snotworm" which ill post soon

Thanks for your time
