Hey,

Is it possible to buy the Land Raider's weapon options separate? I'm interested in getting a Land Raider that I'd like to magnetize for all options.
I figure it would be better to buy the crusader box, since it comes with bits for 2 models of the LR, but I'm not sure if i can find the regular LR's side sponsons. Is it possible?

Thx!

You would have to order the sprues off of a bits website. This would probably be your best bet.

I know GW has the Crusader/Redeemer weapon sprues on their website. So you could buy the regular LR and then order the sprue, but you would still need another set of sponson housings for the third weapon option.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

You mean this, Fallen?

You can probably just get both with the housings from a Bitz seller for pretty cheap.

Get a Redeemer. It comes with all the options. At least mine did.

GW sell a Crusader/Redeemer upgrade kit, so buying that with the stock LR will let you field all three of the main variants. Whether you would need another set of sponson housings depends entirely on how you magnetize. Personally, I would magnetize each weapon option to sit within a single, permanent housing, but it seems that I'm in the minority (did the same with my Predator - magnetized the weapons and ammo packs, themselves, so a single turret/sponson set covers every playable combination). Magnetizing the entire sponson is easier, of course, and would allow you to move them fore/aft on the model (if you also magnetize the doors), but requires a bigger bits box than I had or a separate purchase.

Thanks for the tips!
I'm all for using fewer parts, so I'd naturally lean toward using just one housing. I guess I'd have to see how the parts go together to decide.
