When a unit disembarks from a drop pod can it still move 6" or can it not move?

They're allowed to deploy within 2" of the pod's hull (not the doors once opened).

After that they can shoot or run, not move or assault.

I would love to move my DE raiders 12" and get to disembark and move another 6", fleet for d6 and charge for 6"! 30" charge range, hell yah!

No, the Drop pod is considered as "moved" however with any transport that has moved at cruising speed you may disembark for 2".

Marines may only move 2" from the pod.

In the transport vehicle has moved at all, including pivoting, the passengers may disembark but may not move any further.
Main rules page 67.

If the vehicle moves faster than cruising speed, the passengers may not disembark at all.

In addition, the unit counts as Deep Striking, and you cannot move further after Deep Striking.
