Yeah, even acetone-free nail polish remover can eat plastic sometimes, depends on the brand.

I started soaking stuff in Purple Power degreaser (automotive isle, Dollar General),

I've used it on the plastics, but not on resins yet. I know Clorox Green Works Multisurface works a bit better than SG, and works safely on resin (stripped a dreadnough, ate the superglue).
