Initial investigation results from astropathic communication from Magos Alexander of the Adeptus Mechanicus, indicating potential xenos subversion within the colony. Ordo Xenos acolytes failed to report, and Inquisitor Yumi of the Ordo Xenos dispatched to said world. Report to follow.

Upon arrival upon Colony MM136, no initial sign of subversive activity. However, disturbing psychic echoes were picked up by Adepts Regulus, Aurelian, and Misa of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, and upon further investigation yielded potential evidence for daemonic/chaos influence. Although this would ultimately be proven false, a request for assistance to a nearby Astartes Chapter was sent, which prove to be most useful later on. Said evidence for daemonic/chaos influence involves increased sexual promiscuity among citizens of Colony MM136, which was initially taken as evidence of Slaaneshi worship. However, when Inquistorial Storm Troopers attempted to take prisoners for interrogation, said Storm Troopers were slaughtered by those very prisoners, who apparently transformed into monstrous, inhuman forms. All Inquisitorial personnel were immediately withdrawn into orbit, with Imperial Navy contingent implementing a strict blockade of Colony MM136. One Inquisition vessel was forcibly scuttled once it was discovered certain personnel onboard had also been subverted. The arrival of the Blood Ravens Fourth Company under Captain Davian Thule would lead into another expedition of the planet surface. Thankfully, Astartes would prove invulnerable to subversion, no doubt thanks to the Emperor's grace, although the Mechanicus has their own opinion on the matter (please refer to Mechanicus files regarding Astartes genetic stability). The Blood Ravens would succeed in capturing a specimen, which was dissected in a quarantined vessel. Xenos subversion has been proven to be genetic in nature, rewriting aspects of host DNA and turning any offspring into hybrids. Subverted individuals have the ability to switch between human and xenos form, and have astonishing regenerative abilities. Xenos form appears to be a mix between human and reptilian, showing a disturbing speed with regard to gestation, being completed in a matter of hours, while offspring achieve maturity in a matter of months (based on observations). With the entire planet contaminated by xenos DNA, exterminatus order was given, making use of cyclonic torpedoes. Based on documents recovered by Blood Ravens Space Marines from the Mechanicus Shrine prior to exterminatus, the infection appears to have been the result of water contamination by a crashed 'derelict' alien ship whose traced course appears to be from the Ghoul Stars. Recommendation to Sector Conclave: all Inquisitorial resources in the Sectors adjacent to the Ghoul Stars be place on alert, and an expedition prepared to locate source of 'derelict' vessel and neutralize it.
