I personally, am thankful for the fact that my family puts up with me, I have a roof over my head (Rent Free), home made meals, and enough money to buy basically whatever I want.

You guys?

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Pretty much this bar the rent-free and limitless funds

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I managed to make it through another year with the majority of my sanity. Family, friends, God, a roof over my head, food to eat, etc.

The usual things like home and food and whatnot but yeah, mostly thankful for the money to pay for college, looking back on it I'm really not sure where it all came from but another year has been paid in full and I'm debtless so that's always a good thing...

This except for the limitless funds.
Oh and keeping vision in my right eye after an accident earlier on, though that may have been last year or the year before.

Don't worry about God mate, I lost that about ten years ago and everything is just dandy.

I stopped sending the kids to Church and they now spend their Sundays playing cards with homeless drug addicts, so the risk of them getting raped is down as well.

But seriously im thankful for my health. And by that I mean im thankful i have the discipline to exercise and eat healthy. I don't attribute my own effort to anything supernatural of course.

I'm thankful for the fact that I have a first Christmas at home for 8 years!

The last time I had Christmas day off was 2003!

Oh, and a wife that loves me (aside from the gaming), family and friends spending thier Christmas eve with me and the fact that I have 2 litres of Jack Daniels all to myself....

Having today and tomorrow off, being at peace with all sides of my family even if they're not at peace with each other, and most of all my beautiful, loving, and all around perfect girl who puts up with every last part of me. I can't imagine life without her now.

Also thankful for the fact that I can remind family members that someone organising my attendance at a christmas get-together =/= my consenting to said attendance, and that if they wished me to be present they should have instead sought me out personally instead of using a false go-between.

Plus the fact that when they moan about me not attending and use the fact that they gave me presents to try and make me feel guilty, I can remind them that I actively discouraged giving me gifts at every point.

I like being able to give my reasoning.

That just means you feel good about you. Why is it okay for people to hate themselves but vain or shallow for the opposite?

My m65 Field jacket, my mother, who's always been a friend and a stern mother, my father, who's always gone the extra mile to make me and everyone else as comfortable and content as possible. My grandfather, who surprised me with his acceptance of my navy plans, the roof over my head and a warm bed every day.
