I wanted to try make an Ork army list, using models that I really like the look of, and would like to know what it would be like game-wise before buying anything!!

I like this list because I play BA and bikes slow down my Blood Talons. Also moving 12" opens up your what your army can do.

You can only have one unit of warbikers counting as troop choice. So to keep up with the speed of the army, you'll need some boyz in truks at least.

Also, combining bikes with walkers doesn't really work.
The bikes would have fought half the battle before your walkers arrive, so you'll be fighting in waves, each fraction of your army, facing off against the full might of your opponent. So loose the walkers, or the bikes. Can't have both if you want to be competitive.

You don't have enough CC for 1500 points. One unit of 4 nobs won't hold on it's own. So drop them for lootas, or get more boyz into the mix.

You're army doesn't have enough anti tank, two walkers, and one nob with a PK is not nearly enough. Although, Wazdakka Gutsmek does help you a lot in this one.

My guess is you want a speed freak army with a lot of bikes. That is possible.
IF this is what you want, try using something like
Wazdakka Gutsmek - 180
12 truk boyz with PK, boss pole - 147
12 truk boyz with PK, boss pole - 147
12 truk boyz with PK, boss pole - 147

I thought the Bike Boss Rule stated that Warbiker mobs (no limit) counted as troops choice?

I always try to keep this up to date with what projects I'm working on... but they just keep piling up

It seems you are correct. All the other HQ clearly says one mob, but Wazdakka says "mobs". Sorry about that.

In that case.
I'll still drop the walkers, and get some lootas in there for anti tank. Or perhaps a few buggies.

the bike rule is for bikes as Troops not 1 unit

i can not help you out much with this as i find
ork foot armys work alot better
i find i can't bring myself to pay 25 pts a model if there not fearless or have and they shall know no fear.
you will lose melee alot and have 8 or 9 bikes run down

but if you REALLY want a bike army take all the bikes in really small units like 3-5 always have a maxed out nob in the unit then add everything to him. this way each unit is just a nob delivery system
you will give up more kill plts this way but 2 of the 3 missions need troop to hold ground so it works out better having more

next unless you have the modle use killa kan over deff dreds, its cheaper to buy 3 killa kans then 1 deff dread in real money buy about $10 and they are more combat efficient too

when you play
if you get 1st turn set up all your bikes on 1 side of the table which every has more cover, your opponent will set the bulk of there force to stop you flanking them.
this is what you want. take any free shots at them if you can but don't get anyone in your bike units killed.
on turn 2 you turbo-boost for the next 2 turns so your on the other side of table fighting weak or heavy weapons units. the bulk of there force will never keep up and you will never have to fight them.

if you go 2nd for set up do the same and set up all you bike opposet the bulk of there force, this set up has the added bonus of making you look like a noob so your opponent will never see it coming

always remember your a fast army and you never have to fight you can always run away

Take advice from someone who plays an ork bike list, that is not me or I guess the previous posters

Antitank is definitely missing. My experience with various marine biker armies is that having stationary units works against you, so maybe taking lootas is not the best idea. I guess this leaves buggies or koptas as the only antitank that can run and hide with your bikes.

I dislike dreads anyway, their guns miss, they are expensive and generally kanz are better. I guess the dreads will be easy to pick off for the enemy with the bikes so I really wouldn't go with them.
