Do the IG have flyers like the Space Marines i.e. Thunderhawks, Thunderhawk Transporters, Thunderhawk Landing Crafts? I know they have Valkyries but do they have anything larger for transport? I found the Lightening and Marauders etc... But I can not find any info if they have something similar in roles as the Thunderhawks...

Generally they belong to the Imperial Navy which is sort of a different force. Of course if I remember right the marines are supposed to get the best stuff.

I think I've seen someone make their own superheavy transport, but I've yet to see a model for one.. I'll see if i can find it..

Theres nothing 'thunderhawk sized' to my knowledge. The next size up is basically a SMALL dropship that can carry a company's worth of guardsmen. After that you're moving entire regiments (see cover of codex: guard)

Try that? I know its not official, but if you can scratch-build, you can aim for something like this.

Nope. There are three transport aircraft for the IG:
Valk/vend
Aquilla Lander
Arvus Lighter

There is also the Destrier, a large cargo/troop transport, although it is rarely mentioned in fluff, let alone in games.

I think you want to do a counts as. It's apoc, so you can use any sides vehicles.

I have stumbled across this Epic model a couple of times, I think it is suppose to be a SMALL IG dropship.
