Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a Parasite of Mortrex conversion, but frick if I could find a good set of wings, ya know?

I've taken and converted a Warrior body around a bit (http://masterdarksol.blogspot.com/2010/07/conversion-parasite-of-mortrex.html), but when it came time for the wings, I was at a loss.

I tried modelling my own, but let me assure you of my failure. I'll use them for now, but I want a nice set of wings. If you've got the Greenstuff-fu, I'm sure you'd enjoy this tut:

-Tried and failed. I need more practice with GS and BS to achieve anything that's not substandard.

What I've found for wings that didn't look too large:

-Not bad, but not really what I'm looking for either. I was looking for more of an open set of wings, ya know what I mean?

-The wings from the recently released "Storms of Magic" Chimera. Unsure of the scale (somebody give me a comparison please?)

-Another set of wings from the recently released "Storms of Magic", this pair from the Manticore kit. Also unsure of scale (comparison?)

-Pretty good set of wings from "Ultraforge." Nah, I'm not worried about tournaments, as of now I don't have anybody to play with at all, let alone win anything.

-Another pretty good set from "Ultraforge." Again, no need for tournament legality.

I've seen countless forums telling about Balrog and High Elf Dragon wings for the all-popular Flyrant conversions, but I was unsure if the scale of those particular sets of wings would be too large for a Warrior.
Let me know what you think, or if you have any other ideas.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
