I see you're going through the same problem as I did - not getting the pictures right.
But atleast you're almost right! I believe the "Forum" text is the one to copy, not the "Dakka articles" one.
Also, welcome to Dakka ^^

Looks good - all I can think to add would be some big Orky exhausts.

In your bits box

i would add at the very least, some armor plates, glyphs and such to break up some of the lines of the original toy. otherwise custom is a very generous term to use for this...

I think it's a great looking start, but to look 'Orky' it needs more conversion in my opinion.

Armor plates and glyphs like tarnish mentioned, as well as spikes, maybe a scratch-built dozer blade/ram (with more spikes), front window armor (maybe just armored slats, exhaust pipes like was mentioned. Maybe some careful damaging of the model to represent battle damage. Armored tread and glyph hubcaps wow improve the wheels. Try scratch-building some turrets too. This is an Ork vehicle, so none of these conversions/add ons/scratch-built pieces need to look neat or well put together. The more ramshackle looking the better IMO.

Looking good so far.

With a bit of searching you can find a lot of plasticard sites on the net. Plasticard is brilliant for ork stuff.

I'm with Tarnish - the bits fit the 40k aesthetic, but the base toy doesn't. A bit more work to disguise those chunkier, rounder, smoother elements will go a long way towards making it look like a 40k model, not a child's toy with 40k bits stuck to it. You're on the right track, you just need to go further.
