Hey there!
So, i recieved the Warhammer 40k Basing Kit for Christmas and was wondering how to stick the stone down to the base? Should i use PVA, Plastic or Metal Glue?

PVA or wood glue. Neat for big stones and watered down 50/50 with water for sand.

Big chunks of stuff, be they stone, wood, etc. usually do better with a dab of CA/superglue than PVA. Anything from the scale of fine gravel down, PVA does the trick.

Yep. Superglue the big stuff, PVA for everything else.

I don't use PVA for anything other than sand. All the slate I use is done with superglue. The GW brand has a brush that you can use to cover a large area and then sprinkle the slate on.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think i'll use Superglue for the larger slate and should i want to use the small slate i'll use PVA.
