Hey there!

So, i recieved the Warhammer 40k Basing Kit for Christmas and was wondering how to stick the stone down to the base? Should i use PVA, Plastic or Metal Glue?

Thanks for the help

Id say PVA.

PVA or wood glue. Neat for big stones and watered down 50/50 with water for sand.

Big chunks of stuff, be they stone, wood, etc. usually do better with a dab of CA/superglue than PVA. Anything from the scale of fine gravel down, PVA does the trick.

Yep. Superglue the big stuff, PVA for everything else.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

I don't use PVA for anything other than sand. All the slate I use is done with superglue. The GW brand has a brush that you can use to cover a large area and then sprinkle the slate on.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think i'll use Superglue for the larger slate and should i want to use the small slate i'll use PVA.

Thanks for the help guys
