I'm just curious if it's OK to post a link to the instructions that come with figures (such as W40K or WHFB).
The reason I'm asking is that my son misplaced the assembly instructions that came with his High Elf Battalion Box and it would be cool if someone out there had a pdf of it.
If this is copyrighted info and not allowed to be posted here, just let me know and I'll never ask again.

Well, considering it's high elves, (Correct me if I'm wrong fantasy players) it's all infantry in some form or another. In regards to what things should be holding, you could use the back of the box.
Otherwise, seek out an army book to tell you what equipment they should be wearing.
I say just google the contents of the battalion and look up pics of the figs, shouldn't be too hard to find something to reference. I've never heard of infantry ever being hard to assemble besides getting them assembled in just the right way so that they can stand next to each other without issue.

Yeah, the infantry isn't too hard, the chariot and ballista have more pieces though. I'll see what I can work out.
Thanks.

Call GW up and explain what happened-I'm sure they have instruction manuals lying around somewhere and they'd probably be pretty cool with sending out a couple to help you out with the chariot and ballista. If the first guy says no, try again the next day-you should have a different guy. I really don't think you'd have any problems with that request at all though.

aye, Games Workshop is pretty darn good about replacing broken, miscast or missing pieces. They might just help you with that one.

I acquired an OOP Leman Russ with all the little wheels, still on sprue, but no instructions.
One call to GW Customer Service, and the rep sent me a PDF thru email of the old assemly instructions.

If that doesn't work, you can try visiting bartertown's bits forum. Gamers are notorious hoarders. Someone probably has a set sitting around for free or, just the cost of shipping it.

I had an old metal-plastic Landraider Crusader that they were able to send the PDF instructions for a few months back. All they need is an email address.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
