So, has anyone put together the command barge and had issues with the rear thrusters not staying seated into their little rotating track area?
I'd like to have them still be free sitting, but I'm having zero luck... Should I just glue them in and say screw it?
anyone come across any sort of a conversion/adjustment to making them stick in and still be modular?

I had no opportunity to play around with the kit, but rare earth magnets would probably solve your issue.

I ended up gluing mine.... It sucks to lose one in at the store and have to replace it via Ebay. BTW: Do you seriously turn your thrusters when youre mini's turning.... I didnt think so. So it's mainly a coolness issue. Greenstuff some fuzzy dice or a raccoon tail and glue the thrusters lol.

hah, I like that fuzzy dice idea, I may end up going that
I've been meaning to pick up some magnets so I can magnatize some jump packs and dreadnaught arms for my blood angels, so I may attempt to install them that way... Hrm... choices...
the idea of losing bits doesn't sound to fun... I already have an issue with some marines liking to try and throw their bolt pistols at models instead of fire them in any sort of efficient way...

Bult and painted 2 and glued em both.
If you really want em to rotate youd have to glue the right places and vice it all down overnight. I didn't think it was worth it.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and magnetize the rail, the Lord base and the guns. GW was great for making them interchangeable, but they fall constantly.

ended up glueing them...
Do you by chance have pictures of how you magnetized the rail and top of the platform? I've yet to work with magnets and would like to give it a shot.

im sitting here building mine infront of me at this very moment, about to glue them in, they are loose for me.
Tiny bit of a thread Hijack here...
The manual says dont glue the Lord and his Console, but it doesnt say anything about glueing him to his black base, i assume you do infact glue him to the base, so that he can "get off" the barge and cleave some mortals,
and that the base fits more of less perfectly on that little doodad?

No, it doesn't work like that. You could magnetize the feet, but the base cannot fit in the barge.

There is enough room for the railing and the lords base. I just tried it out wondering the same thing. I'm guessing to magnetize it, I would just put the magnets on the inside lip of the lords base.
I've left the railing, the lord, and the tesla guns unglued so that I can magnetize them and leave them interchangeable.
I'm also going to magnetize the bottom mounted tesla/gause gun as well, just for kicks.
I am hoping to find some pictures of the methods people have used (and hopefully sizes) of the magnets.

I'm a bit surprised everyone is having such problems. I didn't give mine any special consideration, but it fits in nice and tight and still has full movement. Did you have some flash or something preventing tight assembly?

Sweet, Ive never magnatized anything ever, I think this will be a good place to start
