A squad of IG Vets with a Plasma gun facing Termies at @ 8" (rapid fire range).
The CCO passes a "Bring it Down" order, twin linking the squads Plasmaguns; effectively giving each gunner 2 twin linked shots.
A gunner rolls his 2 dice and rolls a 5 and a 1. rerolls the 1 for a 4.
2 hits. He rolls 2 dice for damage/wounds.
Q: Does the gunner also have to roll a save based on his initial '1' (per Gets Hot rule) or does the twin-linking negate the original roll?

Page 31 of the BRB under 'Gets Hot! and re-rolls' is your friend.
I don't like handing out easy to find rules like candy, especially since Dakka can get sued by GW for stuff like that, but more because I don't find giving YMDC the unofficial title of 'online rules dictionary' will be particularly helpful.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

The original roll is negated. With the ability to reroll misses only the final result stands, whatever it was prior to the reroll is irrelevant.
Of course, none of the plasmaguns are twin-linked in this case because "Bring it Down!" can only be used against vehicles or monstrous creatures, neither of which terminators are.

It is also on Page 2 under re-rolls.

Illegal. Bring it Down only works against vehicles and MCs. You can't use it against Infantry, Jump Infantry, Bikes, or Beasts.

Thanks all, especially for the clarification regarding vehicle/MC use only.
