Hey there i'm playing a game right now lol, and i have a question for you guys,

My wraithlords bright lance just scored a penetrating hit against my friends rhino.
The Wraithlord also has an EML

I rolled and i hit, and penetrated the rhinos armour with the bright lance.
I rolled again using the EML krak missle i hit and penetrated for a second time.

I ended up only shaking the rhino twice.

My real wonder is (im a new player) Should i or could i have (if able) if i actually penetrated and exploded the rhino with the bright lance, the marines would then, before using the wraithlords next weapon, take there exploding hits and saves, and that player would remove the exploded vehicle and casualties if any, THEN would i shoot the EML, because i would then use its frag missle on the marines. is this the proper way of going about this?

Oh one more quick thing, i was wondering how popping smoke and cover worked for vehicles how does a rhino benefit from a 4+ cover save? does he get the 4+ save just because? Any help is appreciated.

A unit's shooting is simultaneous, so the EML and BL hit the tank at the same time. No chance of the WraithLord shooting the marines after shooting at the rhino, that turn.

There is a rule that would allow the WraithL to assault them, if it destroyed their ride and they bailed out.

No you cannot fire the 2nd weapon at the targets inside if you destroy the transport, you fire all weapons from one unit simultaneously.

The Rhino counts as obscured if it pops smoke which confers a 4+ cover save.

If he got the cover save, and made it then your penetrating hit is ignored.

Just like a wound is ignored by a passed save on infantry.
