I am new to the 40k universe. I am inexperienced with its methods and tactics. 4 out of 5 (allegedly casual "learning" experiences) of my games have been teams (2 v 2). 4 of the games I was paired with a player that was close to my skill level (which is to say virtually ZERO) while the other two have been near "veteran" level.

I never questioned the skill level of my teammate (or opponent) since all parties involved were off equal consequence to me (mistake). However, after being, and I use the term conservatively, DICK-STOMPED multiple times, I have come to this conclusion:

I will unceasingly use LASH-PRINCE until such time as rules (or meta game) render it unfit for fielding. I will take advantage of any such rules that violate the spirit of the game yet lead me to unholy victory. My opponents genitals will be stomped upon in merciless fashion until such time as I feel the taint of power gamer advantage has been balanced upon the scrotums of my enemies.

I will continue to hunt the flesh of living creatures and sacrifice them to the Eldritch Gods until such time as I have avenged myself of the taint of failure to crummy 40k players.

Lash princes become a lot less useful if your enemies hide in metal boxes. Mechanized armies couldn't care much less about lash. Granted, I don't know what you're fighting, but lashes don't really come into their own until you have templates to unleash. When you have vindicators, defilers, or obliterators to put down some templates, then lash can be really scary.

You should talk things over with your group and get a more even spread between skill levels. One vet and one rookie per team can be a lot of fun.
