Hey guys
Now my Wife has taken up Fantasy we are fast running out of room for all our minitures. I am looking for a book case sized glass cabinet that dosnt cost the earth! Are there any sites out there that cater for us? most of the ones from the likes of Argos and Tesco's etc have no depth to them so I wouldn't be able to put super heavies in them.
Any ideas would be great.

I bought a billie from ikea, they have an option to mount a glass door on those. I love them! Pictures in my gallerie are minus the glass door option.

I would have to grab some of the glass doors to make use of them.
My dogs tails make my OCD go crazy, lol.

Quoted for excellence---I bought 4 of those and haven't looked back. Terrific article/suggestion by AesSedai.

I had one of those before I really can't highly recommend it. It works and I found that to be about $40 as well so even cheaper than my recommendation so if it looks 100% what you are looking for go for it.

Huh, website says 65 bucks for the Detolf. Cheaper in the store or something? Oh wait, shopping in Japan, prices can't be exact. Word.

I finally got my hands on a Detolf and I'm satisfied. Price point can't really be beat (barring a lucky find at a thrift shop), the minimalistic design affords a great view of the contents (almost completely unobstructed, from all sides) and allows it to fit nearly any decor (if that's a concern), and the relatively small footprint allows multiple units to be tucked around a house/room or placed in a row neatly. It also appears rather easy to mod, whether you want to add more shelves (AesSedai has a lovely little tutorial) or install internal lighting (IKEA sells light kits that the shelf was designed to take, if you don't want to go the DIY route).
