Okay, so I've been tweaking stuff here and there, and here's a list I'd like some honest critique on. It's for use at my FLGS, but I'd much rather it be competitive. I'm kind of a noob here, and my previous lists haven't really gone over so well. Anyway, critiques would be welcome. The first list is what I think I would like to play, with the second list what I think might actually do well. Plus I have almost the entire first list, but would have to buy several tanks for the second. If anyone can tell me how much better the second list would be and provide insight on whether or not it's worth it to play a list like that, I'd love to hear it.

List 1:

HQ:
Captain
-Power Sword, Jet Pack, Meltabombs

Troops:
Tactical Squad, 10 units
-Flamer, Rhino

Tactical Squad, 10 units
-Melta, Rhino

Elites:
Ironclad Dreadnought
-Heavy Flamer, Drop Pod w/ Locater

Fast Attack:
Assault Squad, 5 units

The Second list comes out to 978 points. I don't know what to do with the rest. Also, can the Librarian use Null Zone while inside the Razorback? Just curious.

The first list:
The tactical squads should have a special weapon and a heavy weapon. So for example, a Flamer and a MultiMelta. Also a sergeant upgrade is good, powersword or fist if you have the points.

Assault squads dont usually bring much to the table. i have used them before and they aren't too effective.

The second list:
Im not a fan of razorback spam, but i would build a list differently.
2 10man tactical squads in rhinos. and go from there.

I like the new list. Just a word of advice though. Give your tactical squads missile launchers because it helps a whole lot.Also give your assault squads meltabombs so you can deep strike behind enemy tanks and destroy them.

Dislike the first list for fewa reasons but then again too few to mention.

The second list would be better as BA or Spacewolves. I would build razorbackspam differently for vanilla this includes using full 10 man squads.
