Well after years of looking over topics on Dakka i thought to myself, "whats stopping me from joining?"

NOTHING!

So... i signed up and became apart of Dakka!

I have a tourney coming up in Feb, next year and i would like for people to review and take a look at it.
Suggestions and other criticism of it would be nice for me

So this is what i have made up so far;

HQ1- Warboss - Mega Armour, Cybork Body, attack squig 125pts
HQ2 -Big Mek - K.F.F, Cybork Body 95pts

Total is 1838
That leaves 12pts left to buy something else.

Well guys what you think, in my area the meta is GK/SW MSU and i know i have no anti tank what sooo ever. But this was designed as a fun list never used 3x BWs and with KFF onboard they're going to be hard to crack. Lootas might help with the anti - razorback spam!

Deployment might screw me up as the 2x 20x boys have to get in 1st and then move, but DoW is going to ruin me!
Any tips on this?

I am also thinking of just taking Kan Wall it's still quite good, but i like my new Bad Moon BWs!

No anti tank? What are the deffrollas for? Give them Planks and you have even more anti tank.

Also, that's a LOT of nobs. You could probably drop them down to get more points into your BW's giving them RPJ's and planks.

And why do you have to get into the BW's first? You can deploy the boys in them to begin with....Dedicated transports are the only vehicle you have to deploy with the unit you take with them.

You're on your way to a BW spam list. In that regard, you could probably drop some of the boys and get another battlewagon for the 3rd squad.

Or divvy those mobs up into trukks for a lot cheaper. Lets you buy moar power klaws and get some ramps to crack dem beakie tin kan open. Might need another KFF if you add moar trukks and wagons.

if your putting the kff mek, warboss and the nobs in one wagon, i think its too many points in just one squad cause if that wagon gets popped then you'll have all of those points just slogging along to try and get to the enemy

I was gonna also say put planks and klaws on the wagons and you have all the anti tank you will ever need.

I have read some battle reports of guys just deffrolling the hell out of GK and being succesful w it. the only thing I don't like is the nobs vs GK. You might as well hand him the models at the beginning of the game. A wagon of burnies or even tank busters would be better-they never leave the wagon. Keep em in the wagon and defrolla away.

Warboss should have a Power Klaw. 6 S10 power weapon attacks are awesome! You can begin a game with any unit in a non-dedicated transport on the table or in reserve.

If you are facing GKs, I recommend dropping your Nobz altogether. All of those Force Weapons revoke their wound shenanigans. I take the 3 BWs in the Heavy Support slots and load them up with 18 Boyz and a PK Nobs. Put the Warboss in one of the outside BWs and the Big Mek in the middle. One big foot Mob with a PK Nob on the table or reserve a small one in a Trukk for late game objective and/target acquisition. At least one suicide Deffkopta to Scout 24", move 12", shoot Twin-Linked Rokkits, and assault 6" with a 3 S7 Buzzsaw power attacks if going first, or outflank with if going second.

4-5 Scoring units, 70-100 Boyz, pretty mean at 1850.

I would drop the nobs down a bit. You do not need 10 to do their job well and they are a point sink. Maybe 6 or so would do. In a tournament I think they will be all right despite the GKs having force weapons.

I would prefer 4 battlewagons and at least one battlewagon with something interesting like burnas.

Then for antitank I think 9 rocket buggies would be good.

So 4 battlewagons, 6 nobs, 15 burnas, 19 boys+kff,19boyz+kff then 9 rocket buggies should do nicely.

Yeah maybe boarding planks would be a awesome idea.

I have had a thought on what everybody has suggested and i will make a new list around this.
