Hi all, I need some autoguns for some genestealer cultists - any suggestions on who might make something suitable?

Thanks

Pig Iron makes some good Sci Fi guns, I have some and they are a little smaller then lasguns but work just fine as autoguns. http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/eq2-kolony-weapon-sprue-p-32.html

Maxmini makes a lot of Sci FI and Post Apoc guns, I'm sure you could find some that work as autoguns. Link: http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=22_25

Lastly Chapterhouse studios makes some 28mm Real Life replica guns, I'd say the scar type would look most like an autogun. Link:http://chapterhousestudios.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=77_123_127

Hope this helps!

This blog has a few lasgun to autogun conversions that are fairly simple. Personally I use Maxi-minis Ak-guns with my Imperial Guard, though if you are buying from Maxi-mini I'd note that their stuff from Kromlech is not scaled to humans, but for orks, and that their Aks are a little chunky. The Assault Group also produce a large number of real world weapons that are compatible with Warhammer 40,000 humans models, though as typical with most other companies selling weapons they are lacking a bit in the details.

So yeah, Maxi-mini are probably your best bet if your looking for detail (and that's not saying much), and their probably one of the cheaper options too. =P

Also The Assault Group does all kinds of modern and 20th-century weapons. Here's the Modern Russian section:

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

I think hasslfree has some okay looking M16s, which would look nice, in my opinion. Sort of what I've always imagined an autogun to look like.

If only ZUN!bar were here...

The older art for Autoguns that Games Workshop produced had them looking something like a mix btween a stripped down AKM with bits of a FN FAL or similar mixed in. Newer ones seem to be of a similar design, but squashed into the more streamlined shaped of an M14. However its a big galaxy and you could use any weapon you want to represent one. =P

Thats the best point. Most autoguns are produced locally on the planet they are sold/used on...so styles vary wildly. Pretty much anything thats obviously a slug throwing rifle would suffice.

Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch
X wing
Open to other games too
