Here are some Blood Angels Assault Marines I painted on commission. The owner wanted a "throwback" look, to the days of 2nd edition where the BA's were bright and colorful. The photo is kind of dark, and the patron in question picked up his models before I got some more shots.

They dont work...

It's a very nice, neat paint job, certainly tabletop standard and if not higher than tabletop. Could you tell me how you painted the yellow on the helmets?

It seems the photos work for some, but not for others. I will try to remedy that this afternoon.

@starhawks: I laid down a base of Iyanden Darksun, (Vallejo Extraopaque Heavy Goldbrown would work too), washed with a little Bestial Brown, then worked up through Sunburst and Bad Moon Yellow. Very simple layers; don't spend too much time here. A final highlight of Vallejo Pale Yellow, or Bad Moon Yellow + Skull White can really make it pop.

Work for me, I'd wish you just post the pics as I'm lazy, they look good.
