After a short break from wargaming to do my favorite hobby of all time, Airsoft! I am back and trying to pick back up my IG army.
The first list I posted is what I have been playing, its simple and redundant, the second list is one (that I found online) I have been looking into play but just not sure if its really all that much better than what I have now. What list do you think is better?

Well, i personally like list one because it's alot like what i run.
I'd try to get a OotF in some how.
I like list 2, but there a few things i don't like about it:
Plasma pistol on the ccs.
Chimera for your PIS with HW. are they going to not shoot the HW or not move the Chimera?
PBS are too hit of miss for me.
If you go with list 2, i'd drop the Chimera from the PIS and give them a commissar and PWs(if blobbing).
You also could give them AC/GL and give yourself an objective camping/bubblewrap squads.

I also agree that the first list is the better list. I would still drop a LRBT and drop a Plasma gun squad down to melta guns and get a 3rd Vendetta and a OotF. Take your now 10pt surplus to get bolter pistols for your melta gun squads and a Bolter for your CCS commander.
You can also take the points and instead of an advisor upgrade the last remaining LRBT to say a Executioner. You can even drop the last LRBT for say another Manticore or another Plasma CCS in a Chimera. I am just not sure what two basic LRBTs are really giving this list due to being in a squadron, where two seperate tanks could be split up more to use as AV 14 shields for your Chimeras.
I am not a fan of the second list. I understand why the PIS have ACs and melta guns. It is to give them dual purpose as objective campers or attackers. But I am a strong believer that the main reason why Chimera vets work is because of the 3 special weapons (usally Meltas) that are more dangerous than the Chimera itself.

I like it.
I personally wouldn't go with the PBS. That's just my style.
I'd consider going with the LRBT over the Exterminator, due to the fact you have the Hydras.
Kitted out as is would be the same price, if you decide to switch. Also, try it a few games without
the sponsons if you need to get points for something different you might decide to try in the future.
Remember the Medusa is AV 12. Use with caution. You can hide one in cover and shoot with the other,
getting a 4+ cover, possibly. But that only gives you 1 shot a turn sometimes. If you want to be more aggresive
go with Demos.
