Give your kanz rockets as you need the ranged antitank threat.
Split lootas into two squads of 5, maybe even take more.
Otherwise I would say you are good to go

You will be close being timed out in a competition with this number of models so be fast moving.

Good luck

Yeah, those grotzookas are great against hordes, but you already have boys galore to fight off hordes, and are really low on anti-tank weaponry. I'd change one or two units of grotzooka kans to rokkit kanz instead.

I would not like to play against these orks.

Ok first things first. Grotzookas are the best weapons in the kan selection. Honestly using land for rokkits is a cheap attempt at fixing a poor list.

I'm experimenting with kans in a role I think they are more suited for. Anti infantry.

In my last game I took out 4 razor backs and 3 predators with bikers and buggies. I rolled terrible all day on lootas.

As for your kan wall. You have far to many boys to really be contained by that wall. Not to mention the grotz.
I always have
3 5 man lootas
6+ buggies
That's my anti light tank

I like grot zookas on kans and with 9 of them you could keep one set on them. I do like rokkits better. Orks have trouble with long range AT and Kan rokkits are pretty much the best. I also think you have way to many boys. I personaly run only 40 in a 1500 points game. I feel in this style of army you should have enough cover so the boys last. I alos don't like grtchin but I know what you have them for. I think Orks boys can do the job as well and do it alittle better. IMHO. You will want more Lootas for sure. 2x10 would be nice i think. I don't really feel 5 is enough. YMMV.

That is so extreme. Antiinfantry is easy for orks but tank shooting is hard to fit in.

Both are good. Just depends on what you are facing and what else you bring in the list with it.

This is a fairly typical Kan Wall. I usually prefer the Rokkits, but Grotzookas can be just as valuable.

Ironically the tourney for this list didn't happen when i posted this... was pretty disappointed as I haven't played in a little while and have been itching to play again. Oh well I will be facing necrons in the morning for a friendly...no so friendly game and i will probably take this list against him as is unless you guys have suggestions.

Also about the rokkits, I've had amazing results with grotzookas in the past i normally avoid rokkits at all costs unless I am facing nids which i find the ap 3 rokkit is a life saver against trygons. Against most other armies I have tabled armies in round 3 with the zookas mostly cause they were stupid and set up tight notched with heavy weapons by the time the realized their mistake I was in their face crushing them My favorite tactic with zookas is to just barely hit the side of a transport where the troops are hugging it in order to try and reload in when the orks do come at them (it's a common tactic to make me waste time in my gaming store lol) instead i normally land 3-5 glancing hits and 1-2 pierces on the transport and normally about 10-15 wounds on the models hugging it For now I am gonna stick with that especially considering I need massive damage against my enemy being Necron and all

I like both they have places in my heart but I leave the rokkits to my kamikaze koptas atm ZOOM ZOOM!

Any suggestions against necrons? Pretty sure my enemy will be bringing a C'tan with that earthshard of difficult/Hyper dangerous terrain and the storm lord lol. Should be fun

I'd go with rokkits too! Without them you should be finding it hard to open enough vehicles to make it count but if it's working for you then go ahead.
With regard to the lootas I would split them into two squads of 5. The reasons are as follows:
a) they have poor ld. A squad of 10 must test if it looses 3 models and if you fail 7 lootas walk off the table. 2 squads of 5 must each take 2 wounds before they have to test, and you wound have to fail both tests for 6 lootas to walk of
b) 10 is an overkill if they roll 2 or 3 shots.
c) Having the option of splitting fire is always nice.
d) Placement. It is very hard to find a good position for a squad of 10, you may have to cram them and make them vunerable to blasts and it's just one firing lane which your opponent can try to avoid

Here's another vote for splitting the Lootas and for rokkits on the Kans.

I agree wIth the grotzookas however you also require at least 6 TL rokkits at 1500.
Av13 is a bitch without them.

Against crons I relie on my lootas and rokkits to de mech them. Then its a cakewalk.

Split your lootas squad in 2

Another suggestion if your totaly set on Grotzookas is that you can get TL Rokkits on warbuggies. If you drop your boyz down to squads of 25 you can get 2 warbuggies with rokkits and ugrade 1 unit of Kans to Rokkits. Or 3 warbuggies with a bit of shaving here and there
