Hi all just posting some new crons I finished today. Don't mind the resin holes on Nem's cape. I didn't think they would be that noticeable until I saw the pics so I'll have to go over them with some green stuff. C&C welcome!

Very competently done, though I feel they are lacking some pazzaz, especially the immortals. The lack of highlighting is really hurting the overall effect.

Also I feel like the cape could have used some more TLC. Parts of it feel like you just used a wet drybrush and hoped for the best.

Again, very well done overall, they are just lacking in visual impact.

Thanks, yeah the cape was done with a drybrush. Currently don't have a wet pallet or a wet agent so wet blending isn't an option at the moment which is why the cape ends up with that very sharp highlight. The immortals on the other hand aren't meant to have highlights really since i drybrush them all with graphite powder which you can't really put a highlight on or at least i don't like the end result, but they are meant to look like a very muted ancient steel color as if they have been sitting in a tomb for millenia and no longer shiney.

Yeah, not sure what the solution is for the Immortals, it's a tough one, but I still feel like they are missing something. Ancient and weathered can be done in a very visually interesting way.

Like I said, I think they are competently done. I would just worry that the end result will not be very impressive on the table.

As for the robe, a wet pallet is only one way to handle blending. You can get a very similar effect by just diluting your paints sufficiently and applying lots of layers.

Still, overall a good job. Looking forward to seeing more of them.
