I've been messing with a couple models I've got. I'm trying to work out how I'm going to convert the older razor back kit with a new one. Its still early and I'd like to try and set the tracks up so that they have some give. I've still some work to do and all I just need a little advice to fine tune my project.

I don't understand your issues.
HOW old is your "old" Razorback?
Given that the "current" razorback has been in service long enough that it is no longer a "new" kit.
That series of rhino has never come with enough tracks to put 'give' into them.
The really old rhino hulls didn't even come with separate track pieces.

I much prefer the old style razorback turrets because they have gunners. I put the old turret on new style rhino bodies. Is that anything like what you want to do?

Yeah, that's my plan. To put the turrets from the old razorback onto the new rhino body. As for the tracks I was debating of trying rubber.

Use 1/35 scale rubber tracks for an M3/M4 or M113 (they work out the same width, and have a little ridgy bit on the inside for alignment with the road wheels) then.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Thanks Automatically Appended Next Post: chromedog wrote:Use 1/35 scale rubber tracks for an M3/M4 or M113 (they work out the same width, and have a little ridgy bit on the inside for alignment with the road wheels) then.
Would 1/35 scale sherman tracks work too? I've found a set of tracks at the store I play at. I really don't want to pick up a tank kit and only really use the tracks out of it.
