Normally I'm a massive fan of Citadel plastic glue but lately every one we buy is incredibly stringy. Even when we were at GW and chatting to one of the staffers whilst he was assembling we noticed he had the same issue.

Sure, we're in the throes of typical Aussie heat and at first thought that might be it but I don't remember this happening last summer.

Anyone else noticed this? It's making it really messy as it spider webs across the model when you pull the bottle away, even when only using a tiny spot.

Same here, yeah. It's what finally convinced me to move on to different products.

I'm sure you've heard it a hundred times, just like I have, but there are better, cheaper alternatives out there in every grocery store.

I noticed this myself, and its the middle of winter here so maybe not the heat.

Throw out that citadel stff and go and pick up some revell liquid glue for plastics. This stuff is amazing, needle fine applicator, sets very fast really good stuff

Well the GW glue no matter what heat will start to spider. Last winter we had a couple days of -20 and it still spidered out. I would suggest revell contacta glue. bottles are larger and cheaper. plus they have a nice metal applicator. I have never had a single problem with it. Just remember to wipe off the applicator before you put the cap back on.
