I think your list needs work...
You picked Straken but you have 1 attacking blob? Your goal is to get into close combat and you have an Executioner and a Manticore throwing scatterable blast markers down range? No Melta bombs and second Commissar in the defending blob? Melta vets in the Vendettas, so you can throw away your 3 twin linked Lascannons to get 3 melta gun shots?
With Straken your on the right track with vehicle based heavy weapons in your rear (Hydras and Vendettas). Personally, 2-3 squads of two Hydras and 3 Vendettas should give you plenty of long ranged fire power and you need to focus on Straken. Don't waste special weapon slots and properly kit out your blobs. Remember that you can not fire rapid fire weapons and then charge, so melta guns and pistols.

Blob 3 camps a home objective with the LC HWS and Hydras. You can wrap your LC HWS with your blob, as neither should be moving. PCSs and SWS ride in the Vendettas to make them scoring and late game you fly up and drop them out to burn out cover saved based troops. Straken and the two 30 man blobs march up and steam roll. Straken stays in the Chimera and rides behind the blobs giving plasma cover (and firing the ML every turn). Have Straken issue 'Move!x3' the first turn to each blob to get them up into close combat faster and issue 'Bring it Down!' to make the Melta guns twin linked for armor and MCs. Unless the armor is AV 14, be ready to shoot at AV 12-13 at 12", you don't have to get inside 6". You can also issue 'FRF, SRF!' for hoards, but understand your not charging, and most Hoard lists you want to charge first, specially so you do not waste Furious Charge. Note there is no way you can lose someone to friendly fire in this list /and/ you have a OotF to help screw over outflank lists.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.
