Quick question for you all.

If a bunch of Orks looted a Ultramarine Predator would there be a chance that the Red Corsairs could steal it off them and use it.

Thinking it would make a fun conversion but wondered if it would happen fluff wise.

I think the main issue would be why would the Red Corsair steal what is essentially a piece of junk on wheel (or trakks) at this point.

Conversation wise I think you'd lose focus... it used to be Ultramarine, it got orkified and now it's being taken by chaos? uh?

I think after it's been looted by Orks once, there's not much left to loot for someone else. I can picture hijacking it on the field, but I doubt they'd keep it unless they could rebuild it.

Having the Red Corsairs steal it from the Ultramarines, and then later having the Orks loot it from them would be much more plausible.

He is permanantly grafted to his armour since his Apothecaries saved him from the mauling he took from the Star Phantoms at The Palace of Thorns and requires constant maintenance to survive, being driven insane from the pain. Power armour is more compatible with all the tech and is more conducive to his requirements. I heartily recommend reading The Gildar Rift by Sarah Cawkwell, it's a cracker!
