Hey guys im new to tyranids and I am trying to work out my paint scheme. I would really appreciate it if everyone who reads this thread would rank these color schemes from 1(best)-4(worst). Im sorry that the whole gant isnt painted but my computer isnt running flash so the only way I could do this was to copy a template into paint and do these pixel by pixel....I did enough for you to get the general idea. Also please dont start posting other color schemes, these four are the ones ive narrowed it down to. Thanks in advance.


My wife has already voted on these so here they are (just use the gants body color):

1- Purple
2- Green
3- Red
4- Blue

personally like the idea of your crimson gaunts, so I vote 3

I like the Purple one the best, and probably the lime green the least.

The green one is actually quite similar to my own tyranid scheme (only mine i use knarloc green as the body, not scorpion)

My personal Opinion again:

1. Green
2. purple
3. blue
4. red

I would also suggest taking the carapace color from the purple and applying it to the blue body, as I think it would be a nice blending of colors.

I had to have a long look at the purple and red ones, they both seem good to me, the blue looks quite good too. But please don't go green, please. That red scheme looks just right to me though.

Since I like blue I say blue(4)

1- Purple
4- Green, Red, Blue

The only one I like is the purple.

The red I do not like because red is overdone IMO. The Blue does not look good with the bone top. The green does not look good with the light blue top.

So Purple wins #1 vote, and the rest are tied for bad.

2 Red
3 Purple
4 Blue

That said I'm partially colorblind, so...

This is my answer summed up, though the blue one would look sort of nice en masse.
