I am looking to start a small marine army and had fallen for both the storm landspeeder and the blood angels gun ship. I had intended to buy the blood angels codex. But looking in he catalogue online the Storm miniature isn't in the blood angel section

Is this an oversight or is the Storm vanilla only? in this case I'll just go vanilla.

Thanks for any help

Stormraven?

Blood Angles and Grey Knights only... so far.

Blood Angels call it the "Bloodraven".

Landspeeder Storm is vanilla only.

I meant can the bloodraven and landspeeder storm both be fielded by blood angel.

Sorry, misread. Thank for the quick response

Land speeder storm is for vanilla only.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Trust me, of the two, the Stormraven is a more useful model.

I put a furioso dreadnought in mine, and run it with extra armor. At 340 points for both, its expensive, but it packs a lot more whollop than a terminator squad in a land raider for a lot less, plus it puts out some scary firepower.

It's called a Stormraven, not a Blood Raven, although given the nomenclature in that codex I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter. It's a far more useful unit than the Land Speeder Storm, as the LSS is a transport vehicle for scouts that takes up a fast attack slot, is easy as hell to destroy, and can only hold a few dudes. As a transport or as a gunship, a Stormraven is more useful.

Sure they do. Blood Angels call it a Bloodraven and the Grey Knights call it a Nemesis Doom Raven.

Great, thanks for the help guys. Its a shame the Storm apparently seems to suck though, loved the aesthetic of the thing.
