We all know the price of a hobbit army.
we all know how much we want a horde of the little blighters.
and we all know how low our (well, at least in my case) budget is.
I was wondering whether anyone had figured out a cheap way of building or converting hobbits out of other kits, and how they do it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) How many do you need?
2) Do they have to be GW?
3) How much are you willing to pay per-hobbit?

I'd need between 40 and 50, yes, they have to be at least 50% GW, so greenstuffing goblins is currently my only idea, and i don't really have a maximum price i am willing to pay, just as cheap as possible, i'd rather get them for the usual price of a 500pt LOTR army, so about £30-40, rather than paying like £100 for the metal figues. if anyone has more ideas, throw them my way
