Hey guys I was wondering if things are still the same now with ogre kingdoms as they used to be when it came to Iron guts. Is it still viable to buy a box of Ogres and convert them to ironguts?

Or is the kit just too cool to pass up?

Well it really comes to taste i suggest you get a battalion and compare them, it's a great deal either way

The Ironguts box is the same sprue as the Ogres box except with 2 less Ogres and a single Sprue of two handed weapons and more armored heads. So while the Ogre Box is a better deal per Ogre, the way their hands are (to the side) make it hard to create a Great Weapon that looks like it really is 2 handed. Not impossible, just hard.

One thing that I did was use the Great Weapons out of the Mournfang Cavalry box (as I made my Mournfang with Hand Weapon/Ironfist) and made the regular ogres into Irongusts THAT way. Good if you plan on getting Mournfang and load them out HW/Ironfist. (I STRONGLY recommend it. XD)
